2024 Honorary Parade Marshall: Wayne Hutchinson

 Wayne Hutchinson grew up in Lindsay in the 1950s, with 3 brothers and 3 sisters. His high school years were spent at LCVI in Lindsay. His father, Bill, ran Bill’s Taxi for more than 30 years, while his mother Hazel, took the calls. 

In 1978, Wayne moved to Fenelon Falls and got a job at the LCBO where he retired after 31 years. 

 Elected in 1980, Wayne served on Fenelon Falls Village Council until amalgamation in 2000 and was the final deputy reeve of the village. 

Over the years, Wayne has volunteered for many community organizations including the Fenelon Falls Rotary Club, St. James Anglican Church, and Maryboro Lodge Museum.   

Wayne and his wife Allison were married in1968 and have 2 children, Karen and Trevor. They have 7 grandchildren that help occupy their time.
