An Update from the Santa Day Committee
Santa had a meeting with the Elves and the decision has been made.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to not go forward with our spectacular events. Santa Day 2020 has been cancelled, as well as the parade and the fireworks, It was not an easy decision, but we feel it’s best for our community.
The Santa Day Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful donors throughout the years. It through the generosity of our donors that Santa Day remains a true community event, free and available to all.
We hope that our event will return the following year,

Our Santa Day Committee will continue to do the decorating of the village. Be sure to look for our huge Christmas tree at the locks, our Enbridge Christmas tree between Home Hardware/Canadian Tire, the wreaths on the downtown light standards and the many lights along the canal.
Santa Day Committee would also like to thank all first responders, parents, children, store owners… well just everyone for doing their part in reducing the numbers!!! We are all in this together.
So from our workshop to your homes… a very Merry Christmas!
Please stay safe and stay healthy!
Thank you again — everyone!
